About West Coast BBQ Facilities

West Coast Council has BBQ and picnic facilities at Lake Burbury Campground (scenic lakefront east of Queenstown, bring your own water and firewood). Council maintains playgrounds and public parks throughout the municipality.

Can I bring my own BBQ to parks in West Coast?

<p>BYO BBQs are subject to Tasmania Fire Service restrictions.</p><p><strong>During Total Fire Ban:</strong> Only electric and gas BBQs permitted.</p><p>Check fire restrictions at <a href="https://www.fire.tas.gov.au">fire.tas.gov.au</a>.</p>

Can I book a BBQ facility for exclusive use?

<p>Lake Burbury Campground: No prior booking required. Camping fees payable upon arrival.</p><p>Visitors must bring their own water and firewood.</p>
